Advisory, study hall and support classes are among the hardest to plan, because the group and the goal change from day to day. The lessons below give a sub something structured to run with a mixed group of middle or high school students. Read the goal on each plan before you choose.
What is in the advisory library
There are 24 free lessons: 14 for study hall, advisory and SEL, 4 for library and research, and 6 for resource and support classes.
How to use these as advisory sub plans
- Choose a task that is easy to start. Short, structured tasks help a class with mixed needs settle in.
- Read the lesson first. Make sure it suits your students and your school’s expectations for SEL content.
- Print student pages only. Teacher pages are separate.
