Technology and Computer Science Sub Plans

Technology classes depend on working devices, logins and software, which is exactly what a substitute day tends to lack. Each lesson below states whether it needs no technology, optional technology or required technology, so you can pick one that works if the network is down or a sub does not have access to your accounts.

What is in the technology library

There are 24 free lessons: 18 for computer science and 6 for digital literacy and keyboarding.

How to use these as technology sub plans

  • Check the technology setting. Choose a no-technology lesson for emergency plans.
  • Know your school’s device rules. If students can use devices, give clear directions on what is allowed.
  • Print student pages only. Keep the answer key and sub directions separate.
